The advanced reply is on the "Reply" button in the post editor. Click it, and it acts as the advanced reply. Then click "Create Post" to reply with your advanced reply. When editing a post, you're automatically in the Advanced Reply menu, but you click "Save Changes" to successfully edit your post.

If the "Reply" button is the 'Advanced Reply', which button is the Regular Reply?

Then why don't you just make the 'quick reply' button say "Reply", and change the 'Reply' button to "Advanced Reply" ?

Is it really necessary to have a "sticky" explaining how to post a reply? We're not idiots.

It works for the n00bs who don't know how to advanced reply on this forum. Talking down to visitors may not be the best way of enticing them to return.

But they may wonder "where's the advanced reply?!" That's why I made this thread.

Will you use the 'Lock' function? or the 'Advanced Lock'?
